The Pantah came onto the market in 1980 as the red and silver 500SL, with the engine using belt driven camshafts, and a plain bearing crankshaft. It had the same bore and stroke as the old 500 racer, 74 mm x 58 mm, but the head had a 60 degree included valve angle and kept the belt driven camshafts used on the final 500GP engine version.

Verify your TiVo DVR’s software version. Press the TiVo button on your TiVo remote to go to the TiVo Central® screen. Select Messages & Settings, then Account & System Information, then System Information. Your software version must be 9.3.1 or higher. If you don’t have software version 9.3.1 or higher, connect to the TiVo service. From Messages & Settings, select Settings, then Phone & Network, then Connect to the TiVo service. Once the DVR receives software version 9.3.1, continue with the Connect your antenna to the converter box Your antenna is probably already connected to the Cable/Antenna RF IN jack on your TiVo DVR.

A 1.6 litre CVH engine was introduced in September 1991 to replace the 1.6 litre SOHC engine used previously, this engine being broadly similar to the original 1.8 litre CVH engine which was in turn uprated in March, 1992.
